| Lori hand painted
cottons, silks, and laces then combined them in this
one of a kind top. Applique, folded points, pin tucks,
machine and hand beading accent the bodice. This top
is on display in our shop so that you can really see
the techniques used. |

Art Squares will be Featured in Bernina's New
Promotional
Materials for the Artista Line of Sewing Machines |

| Each art square used
the features and stitches of an Activa machine. The goal
was to represent each model in a creative and exciting
manner. Lori hand painted many of the fabrics, laces
and trims used; combining them with shaped wire, bead
and button accents. She even abused items by tearing
and burning them. The squares show that all levels of
Bernina sewing machines will provide hours of creative
pleasure. |

Sterling-Rice Group filmed segments for

75 Anniversary Online Celebration in Our Shop |
| We invited four friends
who had not tried the Bernina Stitch Regulator nor
the Embroidery Module to join us and be filmed being
introduced to these features for the first time. We
want to extend a big THANK YOU to these brave souls
for their help. |
