Zippers are Hot! Imagine the day that you look forward to putting in zippers. And, not just any zipper…but invisible zippers, centered applications, and even lapped zippers. open plackets, separating & even lined zippers. Skirts, pants, jackets, cushions & bags are just a few of the projects that can be enhanced with these wonderful zipper applications. This class will teach you how to quickly & easily install a variety of zipper types with many of BERNINA’s specialty feet. Peggy will bring in her impressive zipper foot collection for you to have a go. And to make this class even easier, we’ve assembled a complete kit with all of the fabrics & zippers that you’ll be working with in class. Simply bring your machine & a few accessories & you’ll leave with a new appreciation for just how easy & practical zippers really are. Due to the focus on BERNINA accessories, this class will appeal most to owners of any BERNINA sewing machine model. Beginning & experienced sewers alike are welcome in this class! Pin Woven Vest Use off-loom techniques to weave an innovative work of art to wear. After adapting a simple vest pattern, you will warp a "pin loom”. Then using fabric, yarns and other imaginative materials, you will create an amazing new fabric for your one-of-kind vest. You’ll take home directions to finish your vest with a simple lining.
