The Amazing BERNINA Binding Attachment #88

In this class we will explore the use of the Binder Attachment #88 to finish off the edges of a quilt sandwich.  (Note that this is a skill building class and will not result in a finished project.)  These techniques can certainly be used on other items, like place mats and in garments.  But in this case, we will be primarily discussing the tool’s use in quilt making.

We will begin by cutting and preparing bias strips, learn how to correctly attach the Binder to our sewing machines and proceed to sew!  Included topics are mitering corners, sewing on a curve and finishing off the tails.

There is pre-class preparation necessary.  Please see the Supply List for instructions.
