The BERNINA-ized, Creative Serger Tote class is finally ready! This beautiful tote was designed by Deb Canham. It's where the L 8 Series sergers REALLY shine with super easy air threading, standardized thread paths, specialty feet and accessories, and stellar tensions with luscious, decorative threads. You’ll select your own fabric and thread combinations. Make yours wildly colorful like Lori’s and Deb’s or consider a monochromatic scheme with lightly textured fabrics and threads.

Students will have creative freedom with Lori’s support to customize the prescribed stitches for each panel. You’ll learn how different threads may influence tension, how to change the look of stitches by altering stitch width and length, and dress up basic stitches with interesting trims. L 890 owners will add quilting texture to the panels with chain and cover stitch. L 850 owners may use a stand-alone cover stitch machine or their regular machine for the “quilting”. Students will complete the simple bag construction on their own after the serger panels are finished. Some home sewing may be required to finish the decorative panels between classes.

The supply list is part of Deb Canham’s pattern and instructions. Thread Play will purchase Deb’s information for each student and provide the supply list after registration. No class refunds will be available once the instructions are distributed.
