Come sew a fun wardrobe piece with us! The Liberty Shirt, by The Sewing Workshop, is one of my favorite patterns. I’ve sewn it again and again. The easy stand-up collar, the diagonal side seams, and the hi-lo hem set this pattern apart as modern and unique. It’s a loose, easy fit, and it’s simple lines make it perfect for pattern hacking into multiple styles.

This is an intensive class with lots of information, demonstrations, and fun! We’ll talk about fabric choices, fitting options and much more. Techniques include learning how to get a personal fit, constructing a one-piece collar, working through this special asymmetrical hem, mitering hem corners, marking and sewing buttonholes. I’ll help you through each step along the way.

We’ll not only make a beautiful Liberty Shirt, but during the final class, we’ll also learn how to change the pattern into many different styles. Let’s get a lot of use out of the patterns we have!
